For more than 80 years, the West Haven Community House has served as the cornerstone social service agency in West Haven. We provide programs and services that inspire and promote healthy, productive, independent and meaningful living for children and families, as well as adults with intellectual disabilities including:

Head Start – A comprehensive school readiness program for children from low income families.

Children & Youth Services – Before and after school program for school aged children.

Community Connections – Residential and Day programs for adults with intellectual disabilities.

This year, the West Haven Community House’s Residential Program for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities will be celebrating our 40th anniversary! The forethought that the agency did back in 1984 to create a program to support individuals with disabilities living in the community is something to be celebrated. Corporate sponsorship of our 40th Gala will help us defray the costs so this most vulnerable population of adults with intellectual disabilities will be able to attend. Funding will be used to further our vision as the premiere social service agency serving West Haven.
